STINGER PADDLES are high performance paddles for both the surf ski and K1 enthusiast. Each blade is hand crafted from the best carbon fibre and resins to produce a strong, lightweight and responsive paddle. They are designed and built by John Batchelor, a surf ski veteran with over 40 years paddling experience.

I've spent the last 3 years perfecting the Carbon Fibre and Epoxy layups to obtain the best strength to weight ratio. The most recent addition to the design is a slight scoop through the spine for added surface area and strength, while maintaining the lightweight properties of the original Stinger paddles. This has been tried and tested since 2009 with outstanding results in both surf and flat water conditions.

Research and development begain in early 2007, after exhausting all efforts to find a paddle that performed in all conditions. Since then, the Stinger blade has been customized and modified to find the ultimate shape for maximum thrust. The blade has an 11 degree twist, which gives it an effortless quick entry and clean exit from the water.
